RECENT WORK

Our Lady of Edinburg

This commissioned Madonna, painted in the timeless style of the Renaissance, is inspired by Our Lady of Guadalupe, honoring the patron’s Mexican heritage. It features elements of her hometown, Edinburgh, Texas, including the fruit trees—orange and grapefruit groves lovingly tended by her father—and the church that held special meaning to her. The crown is adorned with gold leaf—a touch of reverence. My daughter served as the model, bringing a personal connection to this tribute.
